I think this item is practical when you want to save time to cut smaller objects like strawberries. Clean-up was easy because I just put it in the dishwasher. There is the option to disassemble to wash but I am not confident in my ability to put it back together. It isn’t a must-have item for me but it is nice to have when I remember to use it.

I’ve used this for several months now, and I can say that it’s the most useful kitchen tool I’ve bought in many years. My knife skills were never up to my cooking skills, but now that I have weak hands and arthritic thumbs, this is just great for salads and vegetables. I find that it works best when the knife is up (cutting down on the white board) and it easily slices through celery, carrots, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers and even onions with minimal effort. Many of the gadgets advetised on TV are worthless, but I would definitely buy this again.

I was very excited before the cutter arrived and thought it would be so convenient and that I would use it a lot. The idea is nice and the quality is there too. You can also remove the blade to use it as a knife. It’s just I already uave so many other tools so turns out I am not using it as much as I thought I would.
