My cats love this toy, both immediately started playing with it. The fish is not too big as to pose a problem for kittens. The main thing I liked about this cat toy is that it is constructed with animal safety in mind. There are no small parts to pose a choking hazard for cats and humans. The addition of a fishing pole is nice. Overall, I recommend this toy, it is a lot of fun for both humans and cats.

Our cat has no interest in this but our dog on the other hand loves it. She loves it so much in fact, tonight she would not eat her supper cause we took her fish to charge it. She sat there and waited for it to charge before she would eat her supper.

Although I was impressed with this floppy fish when I took it out package and changed it, our 2 cats were less than impressed. Maybe it’s them, they love wand type toys and little mice and balls but this fish was a flop.

My goofy cat loves this thing and the cat nip we put in it! She doesnt play with toys much but she was sure getting a kick out of this. It’s so realistic my toddler went screaming out of the room, poor thing. The cat will play with this thing for hours on or off. This toy is just as much fun for the animals as it is for the kids. The fish is large and soft so it fine for everyone to play with. The fish connects to the telescoping fishing rod by a hook in the nose of the fish. The string hook is sewn in and we have not had any issues with it coming undone when the cat pulls on it. The cat fish is also large enough, that our dog finds interest in it. Or maybe he just likes taking it away from the cat. Either way , it enjoyable for all.There is an included cord for charging the fish. There is no wall plug only a USB cable. The fish charges by unzipping his stomach and plugging in the cord. Also in the stomach contents are the pouches to put the catnip bags. Our dog does not seem to moved by the catnip bags but our cats certainly do.The telescoping fishing rod has a dense foam handle. The rod extends to 20 inches in total length. The string has an additional length of about 18 inches. This provides plenty of space between our hands and the cats claws when he going for the fish. I also feel secure enough in letting the kids dangle it in front of the cat because of the safe distance.
